Bob Marley was a legendary singer, songwriter and guitarist of Jamaican origin. He was a monumental influence in the world of music and one of the few international superstars who came from a third world country. He combined elements of rebellion against Bob Marley was the son of Robert Nesta Marley of English descent and Cadella Marley of African-Jamaican ancestry. Robert Marley was a plantation overseer and had been a captain in the Royal Marines. Cadella was 18 at the time of Bob’s birth.
